Episode #39 - New-Fangled Workbench - A video Update

Installing inlaid steel . . .

This short video demonstrates installation of the inlaid steel strips for the center. The strips are 1/8 inch thick by 1/2 inch wide. They were cut to size, taped together and gang drilled for stainless steel trim head screws. The screw holes were countersunk with a high-speed steel countersink. These strips provide a point of contact for rare-earth magnets inlaid under the center well top. The results were excellent. The top is solid and rattle free.
