Episode #129 - Shop First Aid Kit

Click HERE to download a PDF file with Contents List • Medical History Form • SHOP-FAK Label

The most important tool in your shop is your brain exercising common sense (this works politically as well!). Know the limits and safe operation of your tools. Always use eye - ear - lung protection with proper fitting hearing protection, safety glasses and dust mask. Additionally, have a first-aid kit, fire extinguisher and phone close at hand.

Be safe and have fun!

Thanks for the first aid tool kit info. I can't believe that I still see construction workers cutting materials with no dust masks/respirators, no eye protection and no hearing protection among other things. Weren't these guys paying attention in industrial arts class?

David,

MAN That was LONG...

Kidding lol... It was very educational. It's great to have all of them things in the shop when needed but hopefully not needed as you said if you use your head.

But then, like driving, no matter how defencive you are to prevent an accident, they always happen.

We can just hope for the best that one will not need to use these kits and if they do have to use them, they only need the superglue to close a paper cut from drawing up plans for their next project!
